I have Bible study’s on Tuesdays and church on Sundays
I was working a typical night shift at my previous delivery job at Marcos Pizza, delivering a large order of about 15 pizzas for a birthday party. I was given the responsibility of transporting these pizzas safely to the party in a timely and friendly manner. However, on the drive over, the pizza bag tipped over and all the pizzas inside were ruined. I took all the pizzas back to the store in which I helped my team re create every pizza and have the customer a full refund as well as delivered the pizzas to them after they were completed. As a result of this mistake, I learned the importance of safe and steady driving a delivery vehicle and the importance of securing customers orders so that they can enjoy the food they pay for without any problems.
It was Valentine’s Day at my previous job Marcos pizza, and we were a couple staff short. We were receiving multiple online and in-person orders that seemed overwhelming. I was tasked with answering the phones as well as helping create the pizzas. I was able to efficiently create pizzas alongside my team members under pressure, and manage the prep line and phones all the while making sure that all team members were doing okay and that we would get our break soon enough. As a result of my effective communication and hard work with my team. I was commended by my manager and was offered a step up to shift lead.
This job is important to me because I enjoy providing for the people in my community. And pizzas are an affordable way of providing people with fast great tasting food for a good price and seeing there reaction when they get there hands on a long awaited pizza makes the drive worth it every time
